Tresna (Journal)
We just returned from an incredible trip to visit Tresna, a brand we have been collaborating with for some time. Tresna was started by our friend from Adelaide, who now lives in Yogyakarta. The brand focuses on highlighting the beauty of teak, combining it with a refined sensibility that we admire deeply.

Together, we have developed two ranges: Asri and Tari. This trip was a chance to see the processes behind the pieces we have created. We visited the factories for timber manufacturing, finishing, and assembly, and it was fascinating to witness the level of skill and care that goes into every step.

This was also our first trip to Indonesia, and it did not disappoint. We ate way too much sambal, sweated far more than we are used to, and soaked up the lush greenery—a real contrast to life in South Australia, the driest state on the driest continent!
It was a whirlwind visit, but we left feeling inspired and grateful for this collaboration and the people who have brought these projects to life.
