STRIPE VASE (Journal)

We have been exploring how to create striped objects for some time now. Our goal was to make stripes in our own way, not by painting them, but by constructing each colour as a distinct, separate part.

This has been process spanning several years, as we searched for the right form and a low volume production method that felt true to our vision.

Last year, we started experimenting with a 3D printer. Through a lot of trial and error, we discovered a method that achieves the balance we were looking for. It is a slow process, printing one small vase takes around seven hours, but it is worth it.

Today, we are excited to share our first full range of striped vases. They come in a few different colour combinations and sizes, each a result of this meticulous process.

It is satisfying to see this idea finally take shape.
